Start with the right setup path
Most installations follow the same three-part flow: install a player, add the authorized subscription, then test playback.
2. Add your login
Enter the server URL, username and password from your IPTV NEXUS welcome email. Xtream Codes is recommended where available.
3. Test playback
Allow the playlist to load, open an available category and confirm video and audio work on your connection.

Install Downloader by AFTVnews
Open your device’s app store, search for Downloader by AFTVnews, and install the official app. Open Downloader once installation is complete.

If prompted, allow Downloader to install apps from this source. Disable the permission again after setup if you no longer need it.

Choose a player and enter its code
In Downloader, select the URL/code field, enter one code, then choose Go. Review the download screen and install the player.

Sign in and load your subscription
Open the installed player and choose Xtream Codes API or Login with Xtream Codes. Enter the three values exactly as shown in your welcome email.

Server URL: keep the http:// prefix

- Select Add User or Login.
- Wait for live and on-demand categories to finish loading.
- Open one available stream to confirm video and audio playback.
Login failed? Remove extra spaces, check every character, confirm the server URL begins with http://, and restart the player before trying again.

Add your IPTV NEXUS details
For IPTV Smarters Pro, choose Login with Xtream Codes API and enter the server URL, username and password from your welcome email. For IBO Player or Hot Player, note the MAC address and Device Key shown on the TV, then open the matching Add Playlist link above on a phone or computer.

Save, refresh and test
Save the playlist, restart the TV app and wait for categories to load. Open one available stream to confirm video and audio playback.
Use the MAC address displayed inside the player—not the hardware address in the TV settings.
Playlist not appearing?
Check the MAC address and Device Key, save again, then fully restart the player.

Connect your MAG Box
MAG Portal Setup
Connect HDMI and internet, then power on the box.
Ethernet is recommended for the most stable connection. Wait for the main screen to finish loading.

Open the Portal settings
Press the Setup or gear button on the remote, then open System Settings → Servers → Portals. Menu names may vary slightly by firmware.

Keep the complete Portal URL exactly as supplied, including any ending such as /c/.

Save, restart and load
Save the Portal settings and restart the MAG Box. Allow the portal and categories to load, then test one available stream.
- Do not disconnect power while settings are saving.
- If loading fails, recheck the URL and internet connection.

Save and test playback
Save the profile and wait for content to load. Open an available category and test one stream. On Apple TV or Mac, install the compatible version from that device’s App Store.
- Keep the http:// prefix in the server URL.
- Remove spaces accidentally added while pasting.

Your server URL, username and password are sent after activation, normally by email or the support channel used for your order. Check spam or junk folders before requesting another copy.
Choose Xtream Codes API when the player supports it because it organizes live categories, on-demand sections and guide data through separate login fields. Use M3U only when the selected player does not offer Xtream Codes.
You can install compatible players on multiple devices. Simultaneous playback is limited by the connection count included with your plan. A one-device plan allows one active stream at a time.
Confirm the server URL includes its protocol, remove spaces from all fields, verify the username and password character by character, confirm the subscription is active, and restart the app before contacting support.
Connection quality matters more than headline speed. Use a stable wired or strong Wi-Fi connection, pause large downloads, and allow additional bandwidth for higher-resolution streams and simultaneous devices.
